Early Morning 6:00 AM
You'll be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and driven to Nairobi National Park, a short 15-minute journey. Arrive in time for a morning game drive, which promises excellent wildlife viewing as the animals are still active. The park hosts a variety of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. Keep an eye out for the endangered black rhino, but note that elephants are absent due to the park's smaller size.
Visit The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
Head to the nearby David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you can visit between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Watch orphaned elephants being fed and playing in the mud, and learn about the conservation efforts to reintroduce these elephants to the wild.
Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant
The Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi provides a distinctive and memorable dining experience, set in an open-air environment that enhances its unique ambiance.
